Who we serve
Our guides are written for pet-service professionals and microbusinesses: dog groomers, pet sitters, dog walkers and dog trainers, especially starting businesses, solo operators, small teams and growing operations.
Methodology & disclosure
A transparent framework for deciding which tools fit a pet professional’s stage, workflow and actual need.
Last verified: 2 September 2026Our guides are written for pet-service professionals and microbusinesses: dog groomers, pet sitters, dog walkers and dog trainers, especially starting businesses, solo operators, small teams and growing operations.
We look for materially different fits rather than filling a list. Selection considers professional specialization, business stage, team size, core workflow, price model, complexity and published capabilities.
Product features and pricing are checked against provider websites, pricing pages and help documentation where available. When a price is not public or is likely to vary by region, we say so and direct readers to the provider.
“Best for” is an editorial fit judgment, not a universal ranking or hands-on test claim. It means the published feature set appears well matched to a specific business stage or job. Buyers should use demos and trials to confirm fit with their own workflow.
We use four practical stages—starting, solo operator, small team and growing business—to organize decisions. Businesses do not all follow the same route, and the framework is not a prescription.
PetNumbers Lab creates and sells some of its own pricing and profitability tools. Those tools are identified as PetNumbers products and are never described as CRMs. Their role is to help users understand cost, price and profitability; operational systems manage appointments, records, communication and teams.
No affiliate relationships or sponsored rankings are used in these five demand-probe pages. If commercial relationships are introduced later, they must be disclosed clearly and must not determine editorial inclusion or verdicts.
SaaS pricing and features change. Dates indicate when key information was last checked, not a guarantee that every detail remains unchanged. Confirm current pricing, eligibility and country availability with the provider before buying.
Providers and readers may request a factual correction. Correction requests should identify the page, claim and supporting source.
Recommendations are based on published product information, fit and the methodology above. PetNumbers Lab may create or sell some tools mentioned on this site, including its own business calculators.
